Frequently asked questions.

What is plant-based?

PBR promotes a plant-based lifestyle. This lifestyle is a holistic approach to reducing risks for lifelong chronic diseases while also reversing current symptoms that may be present. Plant-based eating is sustainable and environmentally friendly. A plant-based lifestyle can include vegetarian, vegan, and omnivore diets. Plant-based means there is a strong focus on eating whole, unprocessed plant foods.

A plant-based lifestyle is flexible and encourages a healthy relationship with food. It’s never about omitting anything you truly enjoy but rather adding sustainable and desirable habits which help you reach your long-term, overarching health goals.

Do I have to be vegan to book with you?

While it is my specialty to coach people on sustainable and balanced vegan diets, I don't discriminate if you are not plant-based or vegan.

I will never tell anyone they have to be vegan to be healthy. There is no one-diet-cures-all. If veganism does not fit into your ideal lifestyle, but you still want to eat healthier and have a better relationship with food, then I am here to help you without judgment! Every session is individualized taking into account your medical history, cultural background, preferences, allergies, lifestyle, and much more!

Where do you take clients from?

My practice is conducted via telehealth, meaning I can take clients from anywhere within the United States for general nutrition therapy. If you are seeking guidance on a medical condition such as Diabetes, Kidney Disease, or Cardiac Disease, I can only accept you as a client if you reside in Colorado, California, Texas, or Virginia.
